Dear Delegates,
Please find attached agenda for our WBC16 Committee Meeting in Châteauroux.
We will have to face an urgent issue by the fact that South Africa felt impelled to announce their withdrawal from hosting our 2025 World Championships. It was a difficult decision, but considering the problems they have to deal with, like daily electricity breakdowns for periods of more than 8 hours, increasing criminality and therefore security issues, corruption and mismanagement,…etc., all this justifies their decision, which we understand and support.
Thank you South Africa, for your early notification, and accept our best wishes, that the situation in your beautiful country may soon improve !
Therefore my urgent appeal to you all: please check with your federation, if there is a possibility for your country to host our World Championships 2025, and let me know a.s.a.p.?
It is really very important – if we don’t have a candidacy, there will be no Worlds in 2025 !!!
